Fred Oberholzer

Global Head – Data Privacy & Protection, Wipro

Fred Oberholzer is the Global Head for Data Privacy Consulting and is the Principal Advisor for the Wipro Privacy Hub (a unified privacy framework). With nearly twenty years of risk and compliance experience, Fred’s career path spans major accounting firms, where he covered IT audit and assurance, governance, risk management and compliance in the UK, US, Bermuda, South Africa and India. He also worked as a founder and director of a software startup. Fred joined Wipro as global privacy lead and head of Wipro’s new Privacy Centre of Excellence earlier in 2017, a role in which he works daily with clients on their journey toward GDPR compliance by May, 2018 and ensuring a holistic strategy to address global privacy regulations. He is a certified CISA and active member of ISACA.
